Yes, you read that correctly. I BAKE my crab legs. I saw this on Pinterest a couple years ago and ever since, this is the only way I have made my crab legs. Don’t get me wrong, it’s not like I’m eating crab every day. Heck not even monthly. But on the rare occasion that I am cooking crab, this is how I do it. Healthy? It uses butter so I’ll leave that up to you to debate. Good? YES. For the seasoning, use your favorite. I chose Caribeque’s jerk chicken seasoning. It may sound odd using jerk chicken on crab legs but trust me, it paired well. If you happen to have their jerk seasoning, sprinkle a little in your hand and lick it. You’ll understand why it works. Seasoning combined with butter/ghee and garlic and baked 20-30 min. That’s all there is to the recipe.
- 2 lbs crab legs
- ¼ cup ghee or butter, melted
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tbsp jerk seasoning
- Preheat oven to 375
- Melt ghee/butter in a small bowl. Mix in garlic and seasonings.
