A healthy, homemade sauce Caribbean flavored sauce slow cooks on top of beef, potatoes and green bean for this complete slow cooker meal.
I remember the time when I used to think eating healthy meant eating tasteless food. I can’t believe I was once so silly. Does this look tasteless to you? I hope not because it wasn’t. This one-pot meal is whole 30 compliant and can easily be made paleo by swapping in sweet potatoes.
The sauce for this is really easy. You probably have all the ingredients. Omit the honey if you’re following whole30 but otherwise I suggest you use it. If you can’t find skirt steak then you can pretty much use any cut of beef. Since it’s going into the slow cooker, it will cook down to falling-apart-tender regardless of the cut. If you cook it long enough of course. Rule of thumb is don’t take the meat out the slow cooker until it’s so tender it shreds easily with a fork.

This dish looks so good and simple! I never use a slow cooker and I don't know why...I really need to change that. That meat looks like you could cut it with a fork. Love it!
