How To Make Chuck Wagon Stew In The Crockpot
- Add the oil to a large skillet over medium-high heat. When hot, add the ground beef and onion. Cook until the beef is browned, approximately 3 to 5 minutes. Crumble the beef as it cooks. Drain the grease and add the mixture to the slow cooker.
- Add all the remaining ingredients to the slow cooker. Stir to mix well.
- Cook HIGH for 3 to 4 hours or LOW 6 to 8.

Smelled so good while it was cooking, and tasted even better! My 6 quart crockpot was way too big for this recipe, even after I decided to add a can of diced tomatoes. Also, I believe this recipe makes no more than four servings (possibly five if you add the can of tomatoes). Easy to make and delicious. I will definitely keep this recipe.
