Salsa verde, also known as green sauce or tomatillo salsa, is a green salsa made with all-natural ingredients. It’s the perfect whole 30 and paleo dipping sauce for your next fiesta!

Ingredients
  • 1 lb tomatillos husks removed
  • 1 jalapeno
  • 1 small onion chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 2 tbsp lime juice
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp extra-virgin olive oil
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro
Servings: cups
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 425.
  2. Line a baking pan with foil. Lay the tomatillos, jalapeno, onion and garlic on the pan.
  3. Roast 20-25 minutes or slightly charred.

  4. Add roasted veggies to food processor along with lime juice salt, cilantro and evoo.

  5. Pulse until desired consistency is achieved.

  6. Store in refrigerator.
