Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 lb beef stew meat
  • 1 1/2 lbs sweet potatoes, chopped
  • 2 bell peppers, chopped
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 28 ounces whole tomatoes
  • 15 ounces diced tomatoes
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tbsp chili powder
  • 1 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp oregano
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 1 tsp ghee (optional)

Instructions

  1. Brown ground beef and stew meat in a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Drain fat and add meats to slow cooker.
  3. Add all other ingredients.
  4. Stir to mix well.
  5. Cook HIGH 2-4 hours or LOW 4-6.
