Homemade Cream of Chicken Soup

  • 1 1/2 cups low-sodium chicken broth
  • 1 tbsp ghee, melted
  • 1/2 cup almond milk
  • 1/3 cup arrowroot flour
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 1 tsp parsley
  • 1 tsp oregano
  • 1 tsp basil
  • 1 tsp thyme

Instructions

  1. In a medium saucepan over medium-high heat, whisk together broth,ghee, almond milk, garlic powder, salt and pepper. Heat a few minutes.
  2. Whisk in arrowroot flour and stir until smooth. Heat a few minutes until thickened. Stir in parsley, oregano, basil, thyme, salt, and pepper.
  3. Spray slow cooker generously with cooking spray.
  4. Add pork chops to the bottom of the slow cooker.
  5. Pour sauce on top.
  6. Cook HIGH 3-4 hours or LOW 6-8.
