Ingredients

  • 12 to 16 ounces fresh cranberries
  • 4 large Bosc pears, cored & diced (unpeeled)
  • 1 cup maple syrup or honey
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 2-inch piece fresh ginger

Instructions

Rinse & pick over cranberries, discarding any blemished berries.

Slow Cooker

  1. Add all the ingredients to the slow cooker. Stir to mix well.
  2. Cook HIGH 2-3 hours or LOW 4-6.
  3. Remove the piece of ginger before serving.

Instant Pot

  1. Add all the ingredients to the pressure cooker. Stir to mix well.
  2. Close lid and seal valve. Set high pressure for 3 minutes. When cook time is complete, natural release 10 minutes then quick release remaining pressure.
  3. Remove the piece of ginger before serving.

Notes

Sauce with thicken as it cools.
