How To Make Kraut Dogs In The Slow Cooker
Optional step: add the oil to a large skillet over medium-high heat. When hot, add the onion and cook until soft, approximately 3 to 5 minutes.
- Add the onion, mustard, and sauerkraut to the slow cooker. Stir until well blended.
- Nestle the hot dogs into the sauerkraut mixture.
- Cook on HIGH for 2 to 3 hours or LOW 4 to 6.
- Turn on the pressure cooker and select sauté. Add the oil. Once hot, add the onion and cook until soft, approximately 3 to 5 minutes.
- Pour in the water. Add the hot dogs to the bottom of the Instant Pot. Add mustard and the sauerkraut on top of the hot dogs. Do not stir.
- Close lid and seal valve. Set or high pressure setting for 1 minute.
- When cooking time is complete, quick release the pressure.
