FAQS & Tips
What is a pork loin roast?
Pork loin is a large, lean cut of meat taken from the back of the pig. It is known for being tender and mild in flavor. It’s a versatile cut that pairs well with a variety of seasonings.
Can you use a bone-in pork loin?
Yes, you can use a bone-in pork loin for this recipe. If you do, keep in mind that bone-in pork loins longer to cook. Also, be sure your slow cooker is large enough to fit it. Remove the bone after cooking, then slice and serve.
Is a pork loin the same as a pork tenderloin?
No. A pork loin roast is not the same thing as a pork tenderloin. Pork tenderloin is long and thin. A pork loin roast is wider and thicker. Since pork loin is larger, it requires longer cooking time. A tenderloin cooks much faster.
How do you store leftovers?
Store leftover crockpot pork loin in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.
What size slow cooker should you use?
I used a 6-quart slow cooker or Instant Pot.
