Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 16 ounces large mushrooms
STUFFING
  • 16 ounces lump crab meat
  • 3 green onions, chopped finely
  • 1/3 cup mayonnaise
  • 2/3 cup Parmesan cheese
  • 2 teaspoons dried parsley
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • Salt & pepper to taste

Instructions

Prepare the mushrooms

  1. Clean the mushrooms by wiping them with a damp paper towel. Snap off the stems of the mushrooms. Use a spoon to remove some the inside gills or leave them as-is. The gills are edible.
  2. In a medium size bowl, mix together the stuffing ingredients.
  3. Stuff each mushroom evenly with the crab stuffing.

Air Fryer

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 380°F degrees.
  2. Spray air fryer lightly with cooking spray or line with foil.
  3. Add the prepared mushrooms in a single layer to the air fryer. Do not overlap. You may have to cook this in batches depending on the size of your air fryer.
  4. Cook 8 to 10 minutes or until stuffing has started to brown & the mushrooms are tender.

Bake

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F.
  2. Spray a large baking pan with cooking spray. Add the prepared crab stuffed mushrooms in a single layer.
  3. Bake for approximately 18 to 20 minutes. How long the mushrooms take to cook will depend on their size. Bake the mushrooms until they are tender.
