Ingredients

  • 1 apple, sliced
  • 1 orange, sliced
  • 4 cinnamon sticks
  • 1 tablespoon nutmeg
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla
  • 1 tablespoon whole cloves
  • 2-3 sprigs fresh thyme or rosemary
  • 8 cups water

Instructions

Slow Cooker

  1. Add all the ingredients to the slow cooker. Stir gently to mix.
  2. Cook covered on HIGH for 1 hour then uncover & set to WARM. Or just set to WARM.  Setting it to HIGH first makes the aroma fill the air faster.

Instant Pot

  1. Add all the ingredients to the slow cooker. Stir gently to mix.
  2. Close lid & seal valve. Cook high pressure for 2 minutes. When cooking time is complete, quick release the pressure.
  3. Set the Instant Pot to the WARM setting and let sit uncovered.
