Air Fryer White Fish

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 1 pound white fish
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro (optional, for garnish)
  • Salt & pepper
Air Fryer Marinade 
  • Juice of 3 limes (approximately 1/3 cup)
  • 1/3 cup oil
  • 1 tablespoon cumin
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • Pinch of pepper
Stove-Top Sauce
  • Juice of 2 limes (approximately 1/4 cup)
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 1 tablespoon cumin
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • Pinch of pepper

Instructions

Prep The Fish

  1. Rinse & pat dry the fish. Season lightly with salt & pepper.

Air Fryer

  1. In a large bowl, add the oil, lime juice, cumin, paprika, salt, garlic, and pepper. Stir to mix well. Set aside a couple of tablespoons of the marinade before adding the fish.
  2. Add the fish to the bowl. Flip to make sure all the fish is covered. Marinate 20 minutes.
  3. Preheat the air fryer to 370 degrees.
  4. Remove the fish from the marinade & add to the air fryer basket. Discard the marinade.
  5. Cook 10-14 minutes or until fish is done to your liking.
  6. Before serving, top with the reserved marinade & garnish with the fresh cilantro.

Stove-Top

  1. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add garlic and cook 1 minute, stirring frequently. Lower heat to medium. Pour in lime juice, and add the cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper. Stir to mix well.
  2. Season fish with salt & pepper. Add the fish to the pan. Cover and cook 5 minutes. Flip the fish, re-cover and cook and additional 5 minutes or until fish is cooked through in the thickest part.
  3. Before serving, top with the sauce from the pan & garnish with the fresh cilantro.

Notes

You can also bake this at 375 for 15-20 min.
