FAQs & Tips
What type of sauce should you use?
The BBQ sauce really makes or breaks the recipe in my opinion. If you don’t have any dietary restrictions, use whatever sauce you want! I use my homemade BBQ sauce. It’s both paleo and Whole30 compatible. If you’re following a low-carb lifestyle, G Hughes is a good store-bought brand.
Can you make this paleo and Whole30 friendly?
You can! To do so, you will need to use a homemade or Whole30 compatible BBQ sauce & seasoning.
Can you double the recipe?
Yes, absolutely. Feeding a larger crowd? Double or triple the recipe.
How do you store leftovers?
Store leftover slow cooker BBQ chicken tenders in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.
What size slow cooker did you use?
I use a 3.5 quart slow cooker for this recipe.
