Crockpot beef tips and gravy is a comforting meal that practically makes itself. Ingredients

  • 2 pounds beef stew meat or beef cut into 2-inch chunks, seasoned with salt & pepper
  • 4 cups beef broth
  • 1/2 cup cornstarch or arrow root starch
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons Italian seasoning (or another dried herb)
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons salt (or more)
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper

Instructions

Slow Cooker

  1. Add the broth, starch, Italian seasoning, salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and pepper. Whisk until well blended. Add the beef.
  2. Cook on HIGH for 3 to 4 hours or LOW 6 to 8.

Instant Pot

  1. Add the broth, starch, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper to the Instant Pot. Whisk until well blended. Stir in the beef.
  2. Close the lid and seal the valve. Set high pressure and cook 25 minutes. When cooking time is complete, quick release the pressure.
