- 1 cup frozen or fresh cranberries
- 1 tbsp fresh ginger, peeled & sliced thin
- 1 tsp nutmeg
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 1 lemon, sliced
- 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup (optional)
- Lemon for garnish (optional)
- Fresh mint for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Add ingredients to the slow cooker.
- Cover with water, approximately 4-6 cups.
- Cook HIGH 2-3 hours or LOW 4-6.
- [Optional – mash cranberries with back of spoon to release juice. Cook additional 30 min.]
- Strain & stir.
- Serve warm or chilled over ice cubes.
- Garnish with mint & lemon (optional).
