Ingredients

  • 1 small head of green cabbage, chopped (approximately 16 ounces)
  • 12 to 14 ounces smoked sausage or kielbasa sliced into 1-inch rounds
  • 1 pound baby potatoes or russet potatoes, chopped
  • 1/3 cup onion, diced
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 1/2 cups chicken or vegetable broth
  • 2 teaspoons dried thyme
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper

Instructions

Slow Cooker

  1. Add all the ingredients to the slow cooker. Stir to mix well.
  2. Cook on HIGH for 2 to 3 hours or LOW 4 to 6.

Instant Pot

  1. Add all the ingredients to the Instant Pot. Stir to mix well.
  2. Add lid, close and seal vent. Select manual setting and set time for 5 minutes.
  3. When cooking time is complete, quick release the pressure.
