Using only a few ingredients, this potpourri can be made ahead of time, lasts for days, and makes a great gift. Instructions to make this holiday simmering pot in the Instant Pot are also included.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup fresh or frozen cranberries
  • 2-3 sprigs fresh rosemary
  • 2-3 cinnamon sticks
  • 1 orange or lemon, sliced
  • 1 tablespoon whole cloves
  • 1-2 whole star anise (optional)
  • 6 cups water

Instructions

Slow Cooker

  1. Add all the ingredients to the slow cooker. Stir gently to mix.
  2. Cook covered on LOW for 1 hour then uncover & set to WARM. Or just set to WARM.  Setting it to low first makes the aroma fill the air faster.

Instant Pot

  1. Add all the ingredients to the slow cooker. Stir gently to mix.
  2. Close lid & seal valve. Cook high pressure for 2 minutes. When cooking time is complete, quick release the pressure.
  3. Set the Instant Pot to the WARM setting and let sit uncovered.
