FAQs & Tips
Can you use boneless chicken breasts?
Technically you can but the point of this recipe is to use bone-in chicken. If you do use boneless breasts, reduce the cooking time by an hour in the slow cooker. This will help ensure the chicken will not overcook and dry out.
Can you use different seasonings?
Of course. If you have a preferred spice blend, feel free to swap it in.
How do you store leftovers?
Store leftover crockpot bone-in chicken breasts in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.
What size slow cooker should you use?
I used a 6-quart slow cooker or Instant Pot.

This recipe is very good. The chicken came out very moist and tender. I used the ingredients listed, however I did increase the amount of spices for the rub.
Came out perfect thanks
I’m so glad you enjoyed it!
