Ingredients

  • 1 cup yellow cornmeal
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil

Instructions

  1. In a medium size bowl, whisk the egg. Add all the other ingredients. Stir until well blended but do not overmix.
  2. Spray the slow cooker generously with cooking spray. Pour in the cornbread mixture.
  3. Cook on LOW for 2-4.
