How To Make Slow Cooker BBQ Shredded Beef
Prepare the beef:
- In a small bowl, mix together all the homemade BBQ rub seasonings until blended. Season the beef evenly all over with all of the seasoning blend.
- Add the beef broth to the slow cooker. Add prepared beef to the bottom of the slow cooker. Pour BBQ sauce on top.
- Cook HIGH 4-5 hours or LOW 8-10.
- Remove beef from the slow cooker and shred. Place shredded beef back into the slow cooker until ready to serve.
- Pour the broth to the Instant Pot. Add the prepared beef. Pour the BBQ sauce on top of the beef.
- Close lid and seal valve. Set high pressure and cook for 45 minutes When the cook time is done, let the pressure release naturally for 10 minutes then quick release any remaining pressure.
- Remove beef from the Instant Pot and shred. Place shredded beef back into the Instant Pot until ready to serve.
