How To Make Slow Cooker Chili Casserole
- In a large skillet over medium-heat, add the ground beef, ground sausage, onion and garlic. Cook approximately 5-7 minutes or until the meat browned and the onion soft. Crumble the meat as it cooks. Drain excess grease. Stir in kidney beans, diced tomatoes, chili powder, cumin, salt, paprika, oregano, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Spray the slow cooker generously with cooking spray. Spread 1/3 of meat mixture on the bottom, top with 1/3 of the cheese. add 2 tortillas. You may need to overlap the tortillas.
- Repeat the layers: another 1/3 of the ground meat mixture, another 1/3 of the cheese, 2 more tortillas.
- Top with the remaining 1/3 of ground meat mixture, and then the remaining 1/3 cheese.
- Cook HIGH 2-3 hours or LOW 4-6.
BAKE
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Spray a 9×13 baking dish with cooking spray.
- In a large skillet over medium-heat, add the ground beef, ground sausage, onion and garlic. Cook approximately 5-7 minutes or until the meat browned and the onion soft. Crumble the meat as it cooks. Drain excess grease. Stir in kidney beans, diced tomatoes, chili powder, cumin, salt, paprika, oregano, and pepper. Mix until well combined.

- Bake uncovered for 30 minutes or until cheese is bubbling & starting to brown.
