What Is Turkey Tenderloin

Turkey tenderloin is a boneless, skinless portion of the turkey. It’s the long strip of meat located on the inside of the turkey breast. It’s a a good alternative to cooking a whole turkey at Thanksgiving, Christmas, or another holiday. Personally, I make this slow cooker turkey tenderloin year-round, not just during the holiday season.

  1. I used an unseasoned Jennie’O brand turkey tenderloin (24oz) that was frozen. I cooked it on low for 6 hours, then shredded it and put it over white rice. It was delicious and so simple. It was a little salty, so next time I would either use low-sodium chicken broth or reduce/leave out the salt.

  2. This is probably the best thing I’ve ever cooked in my life. Simple, yet delicious! Definitely making it again.

I usually marinade for hours and bake and it’s dry, never again! Flavor profile perfect had mine with a bed of brown rice . Thanks again just perfect!

  5. Made this today and it was delicious. I used a slow cooker and set it on low for 4 hours. Next time I’ll only go 3 hours.

  6. I did a test run of this recipe to prep for Thanksgiving. It is a simple recipe but the turkey was well seasoned and very juicy. My only regret is that I did not have enough for leftovers! Next time I will double the recipe.

  7. I never thought I would be eating turkey in August but I saw you post this on Instagram. It’s as good as it looks. Very simple to make. Next time I will double the recipe so we have leftovers!
