What Is Turkey Tenderloin
Turkey tenderloin is a boneless, skinless portion of the turkey. It’s the long strip of meat located on the inside of the turkey breast. It’s a a good alternative to cooking a whole turkey at Thanksgiving, Christmas, or another holiday. Personally, I make this slow cooker turkey tenderloin year-round, not just during the holiday season.

I used an unseasoned Jennie’O brand turkey tenderloin (24oz) that was frozen. I cooked it on low for 6 hours, then shredded it and put it over white rice. It was delicious and so simple. It was a little salty, so next time I would either use low-sodium chicken broth or reduce/leave out the salt.
This is probably the best thing I’ve ever cooked in my life. Simple, yet delicious! Definitely making it again.
This looks so delicious and super easy. Trying today

Made this today and it was delicious. I used a slow cooker and set it on low for 4 hours. Next time I’ll only go 3 hours.
I did a test run of this recipe to prep for Thanksgiving. It is a simple recipe but the turkey was well seasoned and very juicy. My only regret is that I did not have enough for leftovers! Next time I will double the recipe.
I’m so glad you enjoyed it. The same things happened to me…after the 1st time I started doubling the recipe:-)
